General Terms & Conditions
All relations between the Jazzboat and the Customer are governed by these general terms, unless agreed otherwise.

  • Receipt

    According to the law on the registration of sales, the seller is obliged to issue a receipt to the buyer. He is also obliged to register a revenue received online at the tax administrator; in case of technical failure, then within 48 hours. Buyer agrees to get receipts by e-mail.

  • Contract

    Unless the parties agree otherwise, the Contract shall be deemed concluded at the moment the Customer makes a booking, followed by an immediate payment in full (through our secure online payment gateway) and Jazzboat sends an E-ticket via email as a  confirmation of the booked services.

  • Reservations

    Reservation only is not available. The tickets have to be paid in full during the booking process online.

  • Order

    During the booking process the Customer has to provide full name and surname, email address (needed for delivery of the e-ticket) and phone number (recommended, but optional). Jazzboat does not sell or share any information, provided by the Customer, with third parties.
    Order is confirmed immediately after the payment is made on

  • Cancelation by the Customer INCL. EDIT FOR 2020

    All, paid in full and confirmed, bookings cannot be cancelled and are non refundable. EDIT 2020: CUSTOMER CAN CANCEL UP TO NOON AT THE DAY OF BOOKED EVENT, FULL REFUND FOLLOWS.
    There maybe an option to change the date, at least 2 working days prior to the original date of service (subject to availability and further agreement with Jazzboat at or tel. +420731183180). No refund policy applies, if the customer did not attend the service on the ordered date or the new rescheduled date.

  • Changes to an existing confirmed booking

    Each substantial change, requested by the Customer, on an existing confirmed booking, particularly change of date of service has to be done at least 2 working days prior the original date of service. The confirmation of such changes is at the will of Jazzboat only and Jazzboat reserves the right to decide if the change is possible. The change is not valid without Jazzboat‘ s email confirmation.

  • Cancellation by Jazzboat

    Jazzboat reserves the right to cancel scheduled service in case of any unforeseen events, due to force of nature or technical difficulties of the vessel. Jazzboat will inform the Customer without any delay, in case such a situation as described above occurs, as long as the client did provide his contact information, especialy phone number during the booking process.
    Based on further agreement between Jazzboat and the Customer, Jazzboat will refund the full amount back to the Customer, or, if agreed by the customer, Jazzboat will reschedule service to another date.
    If the Customer is unable to reschedule to another day and will claim the right to a refund, Jazzboat shall process the refund without any delay. Based on further agreement with the Customer, Jazzboat will refund total amount back to the Customer in cash at the place of service (between 7.00 p.m. and 8.30 p.m.), or if preferred by the Customer, Jazzboat will refund back to the Customer’s bank account number (provided by the Customer).

  • Assignment of rights and duties

    Jazzboat shall be entitled to assign rights and duties arising from the contractual relations to third parties.

  • Payment terms

    Credit card payments are accepted for online bookings ONLY, through our secure payment gateway at The rates offered online reflect all current promotions. Any new special promotions are not applicable on an existing e-ticket.

  • Others

    Concert program is subject to change.
    The river cruise has no strict schedule, may vary depending on the traffic on the river in general, as well as the traffic in the “lock” area. Any situation does not justify the right to a refund.
    Jazzboat does not own the restaurant onboard. Any complaints in reference to the restaurant services must be dealt on the day of service before disembarking directly with the restaurant Manager, and any refunds are at the Manager’s discretion.
    Jazzboat shall not be responsible for any personal injury, illness or death, damages or losses, personal items theft caused to the Customer. By embarking, the customer assumes all risks involved, whether expected or unexpected.

  • Final provisions

    Contractual relations of the Customer and Jazzboat are governed by the Czech law.
    In case of any discrepancies between the language versions, the Czech version shall prevail.
    These general terms are effective from 1.7.2012, replacing any other previous general terms.
