WHAT IS THE PRICE?

Price is 590 czk, about 23 EUR. (changes according to actual exchange rate). For the window seats (marked yellow on the boat plan) there is additional 100 czk payment. The price includes the boattrip and live jazz concert. Restaurant bill is not included in this price. Btw, the price has not changed since the first day of jazzboat 8 years ago!

CAN WE PAY IN EURO OR BY CREDIT CARD?

Yes, on the boat we accept euro and cc (Visa/Mastercard/Amex) for both tickets and restaurant bill.

WHERE DO I GET TICKETS?

On-line system on www.jazzboat.cz is the simpliest way. Order - pay - print - come is a new way to keep the low price. You can also call or sms the jazzboat number: +420 731 183 180. When in Prague, you can ask at your hotel reception - major hotels are able to arrange your tickets. Remaining tickets are sold before the departure on the boat.

ABOUT THE E-TICKET

First choose your concert, select your seats and proceed the payment. When payment is confirmed by the bank, you will receive confirmation e-mail, you can print your E-ticket and come to the boat. If payment is not confirmed, please, contact us by e-mail.

DO YOU HAVE STUDENT DISCOUNTS?

Yes, for student card holders is 50% off the price. Available ONLY for remaining seats at the door.

HOW TO FIND THE JAZZBOAT?

Jazzboat Kotva leaves from gate 5 of the major boat port of Prague: Evropska vodni doprava under the Cechuv Bridge (5 minutes from the Old Town Square). Print out the Google map! By metro - nearest stop is STAROMESTSKA, line A, by tram - Pravnicka fakulta stop of No. 17, by taxi - they all know.

WHAT ABOUT THE BOATTRIP?

Lasts 2.5 hours, you see the historical centre of Prague, then you go through the lock and see a little bit of Prague surroundings. There is heavy traffic on the river, the trip has no fixed schedule, however, comparing to other boattrips this one is the most complex.

IS THE RESTAURANT OK?

Of course we say yes! But seriously, the space and time on the boat is limited, however, after changing the management last year the jazzboat restaurant now is said to be the best of all boats on the river: first, it is the only boat offering a la carte menu served at your table. Second, it is a small family run bussines with a personal touch and friendly staff. Last but not least, ingredients are fresh and the food great.

I AM NOT SURE ABOUT THE JAZZ CONCERT?

Don't worry. We have good quality professional jazz musicians. It is always full band - trio, quartet, sometimes even quintet. Forget about one keyboard-man show! We don't put difficult contemporary jazz, there is mainly jazz standards, some latin jazz and blues. Jazz specialists will not be dissapointed because of high quality of the musicians, and those untouched by jazz will surely enjoy pleasant music and atmosphere.

SO, WHY TO CHOOSE THE JAZZBOAT AMONG ALL OTHER BOATTRIPS?

Value for the money is the reason.

CAN WE SMOKE?

Well, inside the boat is not possible, anywhere outside yes.
Great for both - smokers and non smokers, no?

HOW TO GET THE BEST SEATS?

This is a problem. What is the best seat? Close to the band? On the open sun deck? Place by the window? You have to decide what you want. Our new on-line system makes possible to reserve actual seat guarranteed for you. It is not possible to ask the organizers to change the seat after reserving. Think twice what is best for you!

WHEN IS THE BOAT OPEN?

Boarding time starts at 8 PM, departure is at 8.30 PM. If you are coming with your E-TICKET, come max. at 8.15 PM. After this time we are selling remaining seats at the door!
