Vesna Cáceres Trio

You will recognize some of the most popular salsa, son, bolero, cha cha hits or be astonished by something as unique as Czech salsa, originally composed by Vesna... . Well known songs from Buena Vista Social Club will be also part of the evening. Vesna was the first in Prague to sing genuine MPB (Musica Popular Brasileira). It started in 1995 with well-known hits by great Brazil poets-singers Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso, Milton Nascimento, Jorge Ben Jor. Most of this Brazilian experience found its expression in Vesna's first CD Anima cum Corpo. Sophisticated harmonies, peculiar rhythmic pattern of base guitar, softness and gentleness of Vesna's voice along with her acordion play and strenght by the trumpet and saxofon will bring you for a while to the beautiful place where these songs were born.
